According to The Sunday People, the 26-year-old is high on the former Juventus coach’s shopping list, therefore providing an excellent basis for Mourinho to secure the Serbian midfielder for the Red Devils.
The ex-Granata man cost United €15 million when departing Serie A in July 2015 and made 28 Premier League appearances under Louis Van Gaal at Old Trafford, scoring his first and only goal so far in English football against Crystal Palace in April.

In contrast, Matic cost Chelsea around €25 million in January 2014 from Portuguese giants Benfica, after initially being given to them by the Blues as part of the deal that took defender David Luiz to the club.
